i just saw my first trailer for “the women” last night! there was like ONE brief snippet of bette, and that was it!! but i guess she’s a minor player in the movie! still… i wish the trailer would’ve revolved solely around her!! 🙂
Ray gives an insight that few people have on Bette both before and after she became the legend she is today. Thanks for sharing Ray and please write more, you are a very good writer and storyteller. Great laugh, too!!

Ask Ray how his “great laugh” almost got us thrown out of some Italian restaurant (that I think John Gotti owned) in NYC! Although, I can laugh about it now, at the moment I thought I was going to swim w/the fishes 😉

Yes Jamie, ’tis I! I do remember that restaurant and Ray’s laugh and your beautiful smile, but, I had no idea about the Gotti connection!! Thanks for reminding me of another great memory. We’ve got to get together again sometime, but at a non-Gotti owned establishment.
