Happy Birthday Ms. Midler

Happy Birthday Ms. Midler!

You once told me once that all things change over time which is true. You have to keep moving forward. But one thing that will never change and that is my inspiration. And that inspiration is you. May sound corny, but it’s true.

Now have a wonderful birthday with family, friends, and with all those that cherish you.

Hope you have received our birthday messages and that they brought joy into your heart. To all of us, you will be the one and only earthly Divine One! 🙂 The People’s Diva!

Love, Mister D

  1. Hey Mr D & All!

Well December 1st rolls by once more. When you stop and think about it, December 1 is the first day of Summer in Australia and the first day of Winter in other parts of the world, look at the big picture and you have a season that signifies heat (fire) and another that signifies cold (ice.) Two very powerful elements in the forces of nature. And in between the controlling and ruling element of them all “The Divine Miss M!”

Have we been blessed by Divinity itself or what?

    Happy Birthday Ms Midler!

And for those who have lost the battle over the years, your loss isn’t in vein as for those who are still here have picked up the fight from where you have left off, to continue to keep your memories alive and one day win the battle that has taken so many. We will continue to hold our heads up high.(For James Fraser, a fellow Aussie Bette Head and my friend who passed away on November 17th 2008)

    Big Hugz!

  2. I set my calander alarm for today and sent out a mass text messege celebrating today…..Happy Birthday to my biggest inspiration since I was a preschooler! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

  3. Dear Miss M,

Happy birthday wishes to you, in memory of my friend Ronnie, gone now almost 17 years, but still and always, a part of me. He used to paraphrase the dialogue break in “Stay With Me.” In his own queenly way, he would often proclaim, “I can smell another woman at 500 Pine” (his address back in the day). We discovered you together in 1972. I’m still a fan, and I imagine Ronnie is, too, from wherever his spirit landed after it left his AIDS-ridden body.

As I remember him on this DAY OF REMEMBRANCE, it gives me great pleasure to wish you a happy day. Thank you for the years full of happy days you have given me and all of the fans who respect and love you.

  5. I’m so sorry I missed my chance to send Bette a Happy Birthday message. I’ve been so busy with magazine work, I haven’t checked in here at Bootleg Betty for days. Oh well, I did send a bulletin around on MySpace.

Happy Birthday from me too Bette, and I hope it was a wonderful one complete with lots of love from family, friends, and fans, as well as cake and presents.

I would like to share with you guys (and Bette if she reads this message) what I’ve been working on, or part of what I’ve been working on. We’ve been completely renovating our magazine’s website, including all articles and we’ve added stores through Amazon Associates to help support and promote Bette.

Here are the updated Bette Midler article and her shopping page.
