About a week or so ago I decided to do a birthday fundraiser for Ms. Midler in order to help raise money for her NYRP foundation. Well, as luck would have it, it seems that I might have pissed someone off who used to do these fundraisers, abandoning it some 5 – 8 years ago. Therefore, it wasn’t my intention to get this person all twisted up in knots and pissed off….now he’s decided this week, he’s going to return and do his birthday fundraiser on Facebook. Believe me, I received the nasty comment. However, I think it’s a good thing there are two fundraisers for Bette…..that means more money for Bette’s NYRP. PLus I got the stamp of approval from Bette’s home office which makes it too legit to quit now. So back whichever fundraiser you choose….either way, the money goes to Ms. Midler. More details coming soon! Sorry you had to be a part of this….
