1993 film “Hocus Pocus” starring Bette Midler on Blu-ray in September

In an early alert to retailers Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has made public their plans to bring the 1993 Kenny Ortega directed film “Hocus Pocus” starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, Omri Katz and Thora Birch to Blu-ray Disc on September 4th.
UPDATE: Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release is reported to be a “combo pack” with a DVD included. It’s now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $18.55 price tag. No word yet on the bonus materials set to be included (if any) but stay tuned.
