We’ve just had confirmation the BBC Imagine documentary Bette was spotted filming at the Imperial Theatre will be about her life and career. No news on when it will be complete or air as of yet, but when we know you will.
How wonderful to know BBC is making a documentary on Miss M. I hope this inspires her to go on a biggest than ever world tour. Dolly Parton has been incredibly sucessful in the international part of her world tours. Australia and Europe just adore Dolly! Her albums sales in the UK are outstanding! I’m sure The Divine One would be very very successful in Australia and the UK. She could charge high ticket and they would sell out. I’m not sure about Bette’s appeal in the rest of Europe. But she could make loads of money in the places I listed. Above all, Miss M would give international fans a chance to see her live. I saw her in “I’ll Eat You Last” (twice) and it was DIVINE.
Take a look at Parton in the greatest green field music festival in Europe – Glastonbury – she rocked the place and had the biggest audience, even when compared to the previous night Metallica! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2cTjoJAYdk
Would it be divine to have Miss M on the Royal Albert Hall? It’s their Radio City Music Hall.
