‘Hocus Pocus 2’ Makes TV Debut At Number One

31 Nights of Halloween is brewing up a strong audience on Freeform.

The annual spooky tradition launched last Tuesday, boasting Freeform’s most-watched week of the year, according to Nielsen data. That’s across total viewers and also within several key demos, including adults 18-49, women 18-49, and men 18-49.

In October, Freeform ranks as No. 1 among cable entertainment networks in primetime among adults 18-34, women 18-34, and women 18-49.

Last week’s lineup featured the world television premiere of Hocus Pocus 2, which was cable’s top movie of the week among adults 18-49.

There is plenty more to come, as Freeform will celebrate the spooky season throughout October.

All the usual favorites, like Halloweentown, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, the original Hocus Pocus, and more, are on the schedule, as are some more recent favorites, like the 2023 adaptation of Haunted Mansion.

Cruella, the 1986 version of Little Shop of Horrors, Monsters, Inc., and Encanto are also in the mix.
