  1. Jonathan: It’ll probably be up in no time on You Tube or somewhere else. I’ll find it or someone will and I’ll put it up….

    And you’re welcome Mihai.

    Love, Mister D

  2. Hey, if it isn’t on YouTube by the time I get home in a few hours… I will put it there myself for you to watch across the pond. That isn’t fair!

I know you’ve been waiting forever but I’ll get it up soon!

  3. Thanks, Don!

It really looks different from the novel, but Bette is just how I imagined her when reading the book.

  4. Thank you Stan. I know the film is going to be different than the book, which is typical of Hollywood, but supposedly they did or rather Ms. Helen Hunt did a great job of adapting it for the screen.

Ms. Lipman says Bette is perfect for the part…just how she imagined when writing. So that’s cool you picked up on that….

    Love, D

  5. To whoever put this trailer on Youtube – a big thank you from all the folks in the UK! I’ve been waiting to see this for what seems like a lifetime – I’m currently half way through the book and Bette is perfect for the role of Bernice.

Does anyone know the release date for the UK? Thanks again. It’s made my night!!!!! 🙂

  6. Wel,l I didn’t try the first link, but if didn’t work in Australia and england, it probably didn’t work in Brazil…LOL! Anyway, thanks for the Youtube preview…loved it…since I first heard about the project I knew this was Bette’s “great role”, the one she has mentioned in recent interviews…the format is perfect, the people involved are still interested in making filmes that matter, good films…there we have it. Can’t wait to see it…let’s just wait for Oscar 2009. 🙂 that’s my girl, no matter how old she is…she is our showgirl forever. I saw this small trailer and for a few seconds I saw her face and I remembered what I became this crazed fan. Yeah, life would be a torture without Bette Midler, Fidel…
