“I just worked with Glenn Close and Bette Midler [on “The Stepford Wives”] and they were so warm to me,” she says. “Bette would say to me, ‘You just keep your head on your shoulders. You’ll get through. And it’s all going to go away, and be ready for it to go away, and enjoy it while it’s there, but be realistic.‘”
