Mister D: Be on the look out for producers of “Then She Found Me” to announce the signing of Matthew Broderick to the cast. Just recently, Colin Firth signed on. The cast so far:

Bette Midler: Bernice
Colin Firth: Frank
Matthew Broderick: Ben
As with many movies based on novels, one can expect characters added and some characters tossed by the wayside. However, from what I hear Ms Hunt’s screenplay captures the very essence of the book and Ms. Midler’s role will be prominent. Filming begins shooting in New York, Monday, September 11, 2006.
