March 14, 2007
The “Divine Miss M” will reportedly be the new headiner act at Caesars Palace. KLAS-TV reports that Bette Midler has signed a contract with the Las Vegas Strip resort to replace Celine Dion at the Colosseum theater.
Dion’s “A New Day” will end its Caesar’s Palace run on December 15th, after more than four years. No word yet on when Midler will make her Caesar’s start.
She and Cher had been rumored to be favorites to replace Dion at Caesar’s four-thousand seat Colosseum.
