I received this email the other day and thought maybe some of you BetteHeads might be interested. Might be really cool to have for Bette parties or letting your neighbor’s know who you really, really love! 🙂
Hi there
I work for the Australian Children’s Music Foundation.
We have a partnership with Acer Arena, a music venue in Sydney that has a range of concert posters that they have allowed us to sell on Ebay to assist with our fundraising. One is Bette Midler (see enclosed).
We are a small charity in Sydney Australia founded by Don Spencer, OAM, in 2002. The Foundation aims to inspire and enrich the lives of all Australian children and youth, particularly the disadvantaged and Indigenous. The Foundation provides desperately needed music equipment, free tuition and mentoring via its many school programs, including juvenile justice centres. To carry out our programs, we need to raise funds.
I’d really appreciate your assistance with promoting the sale of this item via your fan club. We aim to have the auction live from August 15 until August 24. Here is the link to the banner – http://www.acmf.com.au/concertbanners.html.
Kind regards,
Kerrie

ATTENTION ALL YOU AUSSIE BETTEHEADS !!!!!
I have seen this banner and let me tell you kids, this fucker is massive!
It’s not that often that Australia gets to see Bette memorabilia like this and from what I have read in the letter by Kerrie, the funds will go to a brilliant cause.
As any Australian will know, this country has an amazing vault of talent that can kick some major ass on a world wide scale, the only problem is, we don’t show support and encouragement. The lucky ones who do get the chance to make it big, all end up leaving our shores to live and work from other countries.
So, no matter what part of the country you live in, how about you make a pledge for this banner, if you can’t afford it, make a small donation instead. Let’s help give these young people the chance they deserve, after all it’s the “Divine” thing to do. Not only that but let’s try and keep some Bette memorabilia in our country, as I mentioned earlier, it’s not that often we get to have something of Bette’s so rare in Australia.
Big Hugz!
Manny!
Thank you Manny…I hope people listen to what you say…
Much Love,
D
