*The Colosseum in Caesars Palace has been recognized as Billboard’s Venue of the Decade: 2000-2009 in the category of venues with a capacity of 5,000 or less. “The Colosseum is far and away the busiest venue in its category for the decade,” said John Nelson, vice president of AEG Live Las Vegas.

“In fact, The Colosseum grossed as much as the No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 venues combined, and we didn’t even open for business until March 2003. It’s an amazing accomplishment and is entirely due to the dedication and hard work of our resident artists: Celine Dion, Elton John, Jerry Seinfeld, Bette Midler and Cher.”
