Bette Midler has been recording in New York’s Secret Sound Studios before her Broadway show goes into production this spring. Producing is Mark “Moogy” Klingman with Todd Rundgren lending a hand. Bette has penned a tune of her own called “Mr. Rockefeller.” and we are told to expect guest appearances (on the album

hah hah I wish Laura and Fred made it to the vinyl with the Divine Miss M! Maybe she will do the Motown collection referred to in her press conference (which I grinned totally watching!!) with Barry next (like I’m so first names with everybody, right?) somebody get Barry and Bette’s agents on the phone we want a new recording P R O N T O P O R F A V O R!

Totally agree… a lot of lost music from those sessions!
