This time Bette photobombs the Shirelles. Their biggest hits were Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, Mama Said, and Dedicated To The One I Love. Which will Bette pick?
I think Bette can have a lot of fun with “Mama Said”, but “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” is my personal favorite. What a terrific marketing strategy she’s doing with these photobombs! Out of curiosity, I wonder who she’s having as background singers? The Harlettes? Is Darlene Love involved? Some of the original singers? I have a feeling much will be unveiled during/after the upcoming BBC show.
Genius marketing, especially when most of us know the songs but not what the girl groups (the artists, singer) looked like. Shirelles also did “Soldier Boy,” but I think Bette would have a lot of fun with “Mama Said.” Sounds like fun music and the makings of a great CD by Bette!

Wish I had the answers to those questions. She and Darlene Love recorded a duet….hope that makes the cut….xx

****Spoiler Alert***
Bette’s CD popped up on Amazon today (image below)

Couple tidbits I gleaned from this and the Australian website wowhd.com:
List price is $18.98
Also available on vinyl, which is a double disc (which should make the CD closer to an hour in length/running time)
Release date is still November 4, with the 11th and 18th and overseas release dates
First single to be released is “Be My Baby”, a Ronettes song. Release date also November 4th.
Amazon doesn’t have a song list yet, but most of the original artist girl groups are listed in the description.
How exciting!
xoxo
Got it! Thank you! xx
