Elites flock to the New York Art, Antique and Jewelry Show

While hundreds lined up at Apple stores for new iPhones, seemingly as many culture vultures queued at the Park Avenue Armory to get into the New York Art, Antique & Jewelry Show opening.
A line snaked around the block on Wednesday as VIPs inside perusing a half-billion dollars’ worth of collectibles included Ivana Trump and her boyfriend, Marc Antonio Rota.
Bette Midler was seen on Friday checking out some “big-time baubles” while Betsey Johnson and “Person of Interest” star Michael Emerson also circulated.
Audrey Gruss hosted a luncheon at the show on Thursday as a kick-off to her Hope for Depression Research Foundation event Nov. 12.
The show runs through Sunday.
