I believe I read that Adele saw Bette perform this particular night and afterwards was so impressed that she said she wanted to be “the British Bette Midler.” I high compliment indeed, I think she meant her not just singing, but acting as well. I think….Bette was amazing, as always.
This whole performance, including the one with Jake Shimabukuro, was perfect. Miss M looked ravishing and so elegant.
