Q. Is it true Bette Midler is going to revive that wonderful movie, “Auntie Mame,” which starred Rosalind Russell? I would love to see her do it. Sarah McD.
A. Bette would love to do it, too. However, she plans to revive the stage production – which starred, among others, the brilliant Angela Lansbury – not the movie in which Russell was also so brilliant.
