A T-shirt designed by Bette Midler will be among the hundreds of items auctioned July 27 at the fifth annual Creating For Life benefit for AIDS research and care.
The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont in conjunction with the Association of Craft and Creative Industries International Craft Exposition Trade Show at the Rosemont Convention Center.
All proceeds will benefit Howard Brown Health Center and the American Foundation for AIDS Research (AmFAR).
Most of the items donated for the auction are created by professional crafters from across the country, but each year dozens of celebrities join in on the fun. This year’s notables include Midler, Dolly Parton, Vanna White and Matthew McConnaghy.
