LAS VEGAS BUFFS are probably awaiting with anticipation the opening of the new MGM Grand Hotel there Dec 5.
The hotel will have two major showrooms, lounges, movie theater, and top-floor casino.
According to a hotel publicity release. Bette Midler wanted $1 million for a four-weak appearance. Also according to the release, the hotel thereupon “…abruptly ended contract negotiations…”
