Enter The Garden Of Earthly Delights At Bette Midler’s Hulaween Costume Gala
by Adam Salandra
October 19, 2017
Bette Midler is gearing up for her annual Hulaween gala in New York City this month by transforming the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine into a Garden of Earthly Delights.
The yearly party benefits Midler’s non-profit, New York Restoration Project, which works to enhance the quality of life for New Yorkers by planting trees and renovating parks throughout the city.
This year’s theme is inspired by Hieronymus Bosch’s triptych painting The Garden of Earthly Delights, and provides an opportunity for some Renaissance-influenced looks.
Lesbian comic Judy Gold will host the evening, which will include performances by Jon Bon Jovi, Dita Von Teese, and the Divine Miss M herself.
Designer Michael Kors will have his eyes on attendees all night, serving as the costume judge for the Halloween gala.
Interested guests can use the discount code “600hula” for $600 tickets.
It all goes down on October 30, and you can head here for more information.
