Singer Bette Midler is listed in satisfactory condition after an emergency appendectomy.
Miss Midler was taken to the Century City Hospital in Los Angeles Monday from a rehearsal for her upcoming tour and underwent surgery that night, doctors said Tuesday morning.
She was set to begin the concert tour on December 10th but has delayed it until December 21st, according to her manager, Aaron Russo.
