Mister D: Kirsty (not Alley) from Oz has been transcribing some articles from newspapers for me, and here is the first of the bunch…I’ll put some more up hopefully by Monday. Anyway, that’s a lot of work and I hope you all appreciate it – for I sure do…
I’d like to make another appeal to all of the Ozzies that read BLB, and I know you do looking at the stats, don’t be afraid to send in some reviews or pics. I love them, the fans love them, and the band and crew love them…so if you’d like to share any of your feelings on the KMB experience….then let them flood. 🙂

ON THE BUS WITH BETTE
More stories about the Divine Miss M’s visit to Adelaide are spilling in.
Local drummer Paul Sharman was part of Bette Midler’s touring party, which enjoyed a private wine tasting and tour at Penfolds Magill Estate, and a trip to the Barossa Valley on Anzac day. Paul is a fan of swing band Royal Crown Revue (better known as the band from Jim Carey’s flick The Mask), and has become pals with trumpeter Scott Steen. The Revue’s brass section is traveling with Bette.
Paul, his wife, Tracey, and son, Tate, 9, joined the touring party’s day trip, which also took in Vinters Restaurant and Rockford Winery.
“Bette took a ukulele on the bus and different members of the band took turns in singing American folk songs, along with some Beatles and Rolling Stones songs,” Paul says.
“Bette not only looks fantastic, but has amazing energy and was great fun to be with…she is so down-to-earth and natural.”
