  1. Hey Mr D & All!

I have been searching Australian sites to see when or if the movie will be released here. I have a feeling it may be a movie that will be released around Mothers Day if it’s going to come here in the next few months, but that is only speculation.

Most movie houses feel it will get a theatrical release in Australia, because Helen Hunt & Bette Midler are really loved here for their work on comedy and Bette is held with extremely high respect in this country. Also Helen’s movies have done really well in Australia.

If anyone can point me in the right direction to find out if this movie will get a world wide distribution theatrical release I will really appreciate it.

BTW – Did you know that Bette’s version of “Gypsy” was released as theatrical release in Australia before it was televised then released on DVD? I have to say I did go and see “Gypsy” at the movies and to see Bette on the big screen playing Mama Rose was a real thrilling rush. I have never heard or seen a musical like “Gypsy” before in such a large place, truly larger than life!

    Big Hugz!

  2. I was the same way last night. I finally gave up because I just knew that it’d be up this morning. WRONG! I’m starting to get aggravated. HaHa! 🙂

I’ll keep checking throughout the day. By the way, I wasn’t shot up with “Entertainment Tonight”‘s premiere of the trailer last night. I just wish that they would play the trailer without adding their own two cents to it. (I didn’t mind the interviews with Helen Hunt, but their “commentary” was getting to me.) The viewers can get the gist of the movie by watching the trailer. (Wow! I really went off on a tangent there. HaHa!)

I apologize for the rant. I just really want to see this trailer. From what I saw last night, it looks great, but I didn’t have a doubt in my mind. 🙂
