Rosie O’Donnell may not have her TV talk show anymore, but she certainly still knows how to get people excited about the music she loves. At the Annie Lennox concert at the Apollo Theater Monday night, O’Donnell led practically every standing ovation for the Eurythmics singer from her fifth-row seat, and helped get the crowd on its feet to dance to “Walking on Broken Glass.” When the song ended, O’Donnell was disappointed when everyone sat again. “Oh, I thought we were going to keep dancing,” she said as she took her seat.

Bette Midler was a little more sedate in her guest box, though she also seemed to have a good time watching Lennox, who was previewing material from her upcoming “Bare” CD.
