‘NCIS’ Secrets from Sean Murray
March 11, 2009
ET goes in-depth with “NCIS” star Sean Murray to find out his connection to Leonardo DiCaprio, Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Midler.
Not everyone knows it, but Sean was a child actor who acted in ‘This Boy’s Life’ with Leo back in 1993.
“I just knew him as a guy that I would play Street Fighter II with at the 7-11,” Sean says.
That very same year, he also worked with Sarah Jessica, Kathy Najimy and Bette Midler in ‘Hocus Pocus.’
“Bette, I like Bette, Bette was very cool,” he says of the Devine Miss M.
And, surprise, surprise, Sean also worked with Mark Harmon before joining the cast of “NCIS.” Mark guest starred on “Harts of the West” as a drunken rodeo clown — and gave the 15-year-old Sean a tip on changing a line.
Sean tells ET, “I remember Mark saying, ‘You’re the one that’s up there doing it. If that’s what your gut’s telling you, then that’s right, so fight for what you think it should be.'”
“NCIS” airs Tuesday nights on CBS at 8 p.m.
