A picture of Bette during the 1976 Bette Midler show is in May’s In Style Magazine. The picture is apart of a three page spread on famous women in bikinis. The Small caption next to the photo of Bette in her bikini says;
“Out of the deep: Forget swimming. “The bikini was part and parcel of the sexual revolution,” explains Steele. Who better to kick it off by go-go dancing on TV than the inimitable Goldie Hawn? Better Midler and Carrie Fisher continued the laugh-in on the stage and in space.”
