Cabaret is back, with Bette Midler

New American Theater resumes its popular Cabaret Series with “The BETTE set ”“ a musical journey to Midler Earth.”
Three performances are scheduled at New American Theater’s intimate 75-seat cabaret space at BayWalk, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21-22, 8 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 23, 6:30 p.m. Cabaret crowd favorites (and serious Bette Midler fanatics) Sara Delbeato and Michael Raabe join forces to celebrate and interpret the music of The Divine Miss M.
From her retro-tastic covers and camp classics to her power ballads and movie hits, Delbeato and Raabe will take you on a splendid musical journey to Midler earth. Feather boa and fabulous shoes optional (but highly recommended). This show is a benefit cabaret for the Trevor Project, with half of the proceeds going to the organization.
The Trevor Project is the leading national organization focused on crisis intervention and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
