Dear Betteheads:
Okay, this is how it goes down. We’re gonna try to go old school on this year’s Happy Birthday Bette Fundraiser. Simply put, we’ll each buy Bette a Birthday Card and insert our own special wishes for her, along with a check or money order made out to, New York Restoration Project. You can also use your credit card and leave a special message in the comment box.
The cards and the total amount raised will be presented to Ms. Midler at the the end of the fundraiser, which starts now and runs through December 31, 2012
To make sure your card is presented to Ms. Midler, be sure to write Bootleg Betty or BLB on the envelope, check, money order, or in the comment box, if using credit card. If you don’t want to credit Bootleg Betty, that’s fine too. Just leave that part off. What matters is the gift to help her charity, the New York Restoration Project.
