Mister D: My FB friend, Robin Lerner, and two of her friends wrote this beautiful song for Bette to sing in her Kiss My Brass Tour. I loved it and thought it should be her next single. If I’m not mistaken, it really was scheduled to be. But, surprisingly, the song got a mixed reaction in concert. I just couldn’t believe I was hearing some hisses and boos. I guess we were all supposed to believe 9-11 happened in a vacuum where another country just hated us because of our freedom. This song asks we do a little self-reflection, ask questions as to why, could there be another reason, for instance, all our interventions in the name of democracy? Well, when I heard the song those were some of the ideas I had. So sorry that this song got lost in the controversial fire
