Asked in the December issue of Us magazine if there was anything in her past that might keep her from gaining public Office, Bette Midler said: “Well, I slept with Geraldo (Rivera). That’s a completely humiliating thing to have to admit.”
She doesn’t deny his allegations after all?
“I just deny that I was ‘insatiable.’ In my youth – so many years ago – I was a pretty hot number. But since I had my ‘big comeback’ people perceive me as having _ mellowed … as much more matronly…. But who cares. It’s a blip on the screen of my life, believe me.
