I know Bette can’t stand this single — it is pretty cheesy — but I have to tell you, back in ’79-80 I danced to this extended single in a SF disco. This was the “last call” record (replacing “Last Dance”!) and was so popular with a very rowdy crowd that the DJ repeat-played it three times total, right up to closing time! Bless you, Bette, for recording a number of dance tunes in your career — I hope you’ll come around to understanding that “Knight” was your best!
You should have seen the comments from people on the You Tube site where I got it. Nothing but pure love for the track. I didn’t even know it had gotten that popular.
