MIDLER HELPS OUT WALDEN While in town for her second stop at the FleetCenter in as many months, songstress Bette Midler will stay an extra day to help out rocker/environmentalist Don Henley and the Walden Woods Project.
Midler will be featured at a fund-raising gala at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel March 16. “It’s rare to have an opportunity to see Bette Midler perform in an intimate venue, and I’m very grateful that she’s generously agreed to donate her time and talent to raise funds” for the project, Henley said in a written statement.
