Celebrities will visit Peru‘s Machu Picchu

Peru’s Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister, MartÃn Pérez, told the press that the Ministry is issuing special invitations to celebrities such as Susan Sarandon, Anthony Hopkins, Bette Midler and the Infanta (Princess) Cristina from Spain.
He said that Susan Sarandon will come.
He also pointed out that the idea is to guarantee these celebrities all the privacy and peace they require, but will also be accompanied by a photographer, in order to use the photos as promotional material to market Cusco as a touristic destination.
Perez remarked that airlines and hotels that serve these celebrities will also have a great opportunity to market their services.
The Minister said that the dates of these visits have not been disclosed yet.
