PUPPY MILL AWARENESS DAY
Nationally known Bette Midler tribute artist Donna Maxon will be at Tottenville High School Sunday at 12:30 p.m. to perform with her colleagues for Puppy Mill Awareness Day, organized by the JCC Beacon Youth Council.
The show will also feature other Staten Islanders: Richie Santa as Elvis, Danny Rebecca as Louie Armstrong and Michael Saisa as Michael Jackson.
Also on hand with be tribute performances of Marilyn Monroe, LL Cool J, Robert Dinero and Lady Gaga.
All proceeds will benefit No More Tears Rescue. Admission is free and the event is dog-friendly.
GOOO Donna-I am a huge animal rights activist and have spent the last 20 years saving abused animals-the sights I’ve seen-you wouldn’t believe! Keep up the great work-I wish the real Bette would get more involved in animal rescue-we could sure use her help-although I know she is an animal lover.
