Bette Midler currently is filming “Stella Dallas” in Toronto. It’s the remake of the tearjerker that starred Barbara Stanwyck.
Director John Erman reports all is going well except for Bette, who grew up In Hawaii, suffering from the big chill that hit Toronto this spring.
