Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 5 best hairstyles from the 2012 induction

The colorstylist.com released today its 5 best hairstyles chosen from this weekends Rock and Roll hall of fame.

This past weekend The Beastie Boys were placed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio. Three of the other bands that were inducted into the hall of fame were Guns N’ Roses, the Faces, and Donovan. Westlake Village Hair Stylist Shannon Whiteside, known as The Color Stylist released her 5 best hair styles chosen from the weekends event.

The Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame event included presentations by ZZ Top, John Mellencamp and a speech that drew applause by Green Day front-man Billie Joe Armstrong.

The colorstylist chose as it’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame best haircuts to be Matt Sorum, Duff McKagen, Sara Barielles, Izzy Stradlin, and Bette Midler.

Matt Sorum became famous in the American band Guns N’ Roses. He comes originally from Mission Viejo California and was in Guns N’ Roses for 7 years from 1990-1997.
He now plays in the band Velvet Revolver, which includes previous band mates from Guns N’ Roses, Duff McKagen and Slash.

Duff McKagen was also a member of the band Guns N’ Roses for 12 years in the 1980’s and 1990’s. He went on to join the Neurotic Outsiders. He has also played with loaded and Velvet Revolver.

Sara Bareilles became famous when her record label asked her to write a marketable love song instead of a song about someone specific. Her answer to that was “Love Song” which made it to number one on the Billboard charts.

Izzy Stradlin was also a membr of Guns N’ Roses. Stradlin says that his biggest musical influence was his paternal grandmother who played rums in a swing band. Stradlin played in a band in high school with Bill Bailey who went on to become Axyl Rose. Stradlin played in Guns N’ Roses from 1985 to 1991.

Bette Midler started off doing liver performances and went on to become a movie actress, singer, and comedian. She has sold over 30 million records worldwide.
