Heather Locklear and Elizabeth Berkley have joined the cast of “The First Wives Club,” alongside Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler and Diane Keaton. In the story about three divorced wives who plot to destroy the lives of their ex-husbands, Locklear and Berkley will play second wives. Locklear is best known as Amanda on “Melrose Place”; Berkley recently starred in “Showgirls.” “The First Wives’ Club,” to be directed by Hugh Wilson, also features Maggie Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker, Dan Hedaya, Jon Stewart, Stockard Channing, Bronson Pinchot, James Naughton, Eileen Heckart, Stephen Collins, Victor Garber, Marcia Gay Harden, Philip Bosco and Rob Reiner. . . . Carl Reiner is going to direct Bette Midler’s “That Old Feeling,” a romantic farce by “Mrs. Doubtfire” screenwriter Leslie Dixon. The story is about divorced couple who reconnect at their daughter’s wedding and run off together.
