– Phish, Dec. 30-31, Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation, Florida, 75,000 tickets, $11.6 million in ticket sales.
– Eagles, Dec. 31, Staples Center, Los Angeles, 16,600, $6.3 million.
– Billy Joel, Dec. 31, Madison Square Garden, New York, 19,000, $4.5 million.
– Metallica, Dec. 31, Silverdome, Pontiac, Mich., 54,707, $3 million.
– Barbra Streisand, Dec. 31, MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, sold out, top ticket price was $2,500.
– Bette Midler, Dec. 31-Jan. 1, Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, sold 70 to 80 percent of arena capacity.
– Bee Gees, Dec. 31, National Car Rental Center, Sunrise, Fla., 10,018 tickets.
– Gloria Estefan, Dec. 31, AmericanAirlines Arena, Miami, 10,000 tickets.
