Beautiful rendition, would love to hear as a duet with Miss M ~ like the Wynonna special. Bette and Stevie Nicks are good friends so it is possible!
Another thing Mr D, could I be so bold as to put an idea out there? I absolutely love listening to your jukebox and always get a little rush when you announce a new one. I especially love when you include tracks from her early concerts (I think it may be frog & nightgown and Clams you often include tracks from – I am not sure if you include other ones from the early seventies). Anyway, it would be absolutely wonderful if on the occasional month we could please have the entire concert to listen to in one hit. Experiencing the concert from start to end in one sitting would be amazing and as close as we will ever get to being there. Anyway, just putting it out there, as always Bootlegbetty is perfect and everyone really appreciates the work you put in as the documentarian of Bette’s career.

As a massive fan of Stevie Nicks for over 30 years who’s life changed after seeing The Rose 3 times at age 14 I did not know that Stevie ever performed The Rose.. please.. so many Stevie (and Bette) fans would love to see or hear the full song. Take care Dawn in Australia x
Yeah she sang it at an event where they were honoring songwriters and one artist who they thought had interpreted songs of others greatly, Bette Midler. Stevie was one of the writers being awarded. Bette and Stevie have been friends since 1979. Anyway I have been looking for a clip of that everywhere, cause I love Stevie, too, but this was the only clip I ever found. Hopefully one day someone will put the whole thing up on You Tube or somewhere else. I’ll continue looking. Thanks, Don Ps: It was 2013 that that was filmed.The Songwriters Hall of Fame
Stevie’s already been inducted. However, each year about 6 songwriters get inducted and then one vocalist who interprets other peoples songs since they usually don’t write. And we all know what a great interpreter of song Bette can be..

Stevie was there to induct Bette Midler. Stevie didn’t receive an award. And it was 2012.
