Mr. D, you were right. I hate that dress/ nightgown. Actually, the only things I liked about this was Carson’s wonderful introduction and Miss M’s speech on the theater.
My favorite Bette acceptance speech is the one she gave upon receiving The Best Comedy/ Musical Actress Golden Globe for working on “For the Boys”. Her emotions came out and for a few seconds we saw Miss M’s soul. I love the moments The Divine Miss M character slips away and we see the real Bette.
