Mister D: This entry came from somebody else’s blog called: thefourcorners.blogspot.com So this is for all my Russian readers.
Today I am alone in my office. Ah, sweet solitude! To celebrate, I am listening to Russian, Ukrainian and Moldovan artists.
Yesterday I bought the new Okean Elzycd, SuperSymmetry, and a cd called “Our Native USSR” which is a compilation of songs popular in the 1970s and 1980s. Track one is “Ferryman” by Alla Pugachova, Russian Pop Diva Extraordinaire. She is the Russian equivelant of Barbara Streisand or Bette Midler. She’s even popular in Japan. Her latest husband is Philip Kirkorov who is a diva in his own right.
