Why Bette Won’t Do Dancing With The Stars?
1. It’s usually B-D List celebrities that do the show. Not icons.
2. Bette is an icon
3. These are usually for people trying to make a comeback. Bette’s not trying to make a comeback
4. No disrepsect to the people who do the show or watch it, but I find it just extremely tacky. I don’t know why, it’s just in my blood. Maybe it’s because when I used to date girls I had two that made me go to dance lessons
5. Bette hates to read any criticism about herself or much of anything about herself so how do you think she’s going to get up there with people flashing numbers at her rating the performance she just gave.
6. Not going to happen.
She may perform on the show, but I doubt you’ll see her as a contestant.

thank GOD! Bette’s too smart and talented to be on a show like that. i find it extremely tacky too… those judges, the hosts, the karoke… ugh.
YAY!!!! Someone else thinks its just as tacky as I do. 5 people in my dorm get together and watch it everytime it airs…yuck. Never watched an eppisode in the whole run of it.
Why do we even have it??
i am truly, truly, truly confident that bette can outdance anyone there. but she is way out of their league. thus, she can’t be part of that show!

I agree she is too good for that type of exposing reality show. I think she sung and looked fantastic on the ‘Dancing On Ice’ show.
Does anyone no on here what other shows she will be appearing on??
I have managed to get tickets for tomorrows recording of Loose women where she will be a guest. But I wanna try and attend the other shows she will be on…

Bette Midler is WAY TOO GOOD to be a contestant on DWTS. She may be good enough to be a GUEST PERFORMER, but that’s it, like you said. DWTS has B-D or even Z-list celebrities as contestants, anyway, while the true stars, legends, and superstars just sing as guests.
