Bette Midler To Guest At Carnegie Hall Tonight (Almay Rainforest Concert)

Whatever Kate Hudson‘s doing is paying off. Revlon has just announced that its Almay brand has signed Kate as its newest “ambassador.”

“She is smart, confident and vivacious. Her energy and youthful spirit are contagious,” says Revlon CEO Alan T. Ennis in the release.

Kate’s first television and print campaign for Almay is set to debut later this year.

As part of her duties, Kate will also be involved in company-sponsored philanthropic and fund-raising events, starting tonight. She will represent the brand at the Almay Rainforest Concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Performers will include Sting, Elton John and Lady Gaga. Among the expected guests: Bette Midler, Chris Noth, Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa, Sam Rockwell, and Christopher Walken.
