“McCleary impressively captures Midler’s bawdy persona, her vocal style and even her walk. But the show isn’t a slavish impersonation. It lives and breathes on the strength of McCleary’s own vibrant talent and personality.”-Dan Kane, Canton Repository

“I will never forget it, you know….There are but a handful of performers who can step in and out of character effortlessly. There are even still fewer entertainers who can take an audience on a two hour ride in which every moment is filled with something more impressive, more surprising and more humorous than the next. Only a veteran can have an audience eating out of the palm of her hand and make a multi costumed show with 20 musical numbers look easy…In Divine Deception, which I had the opportunity to see Saturday with a packed house at Theatre 8:15 in Green, Jennica McCleary, you are that kind of performer and you are that rare entertainer. You never cease to amaze! It was well worth the seven hour round trip to see it!” Shane Riggs, Managing Editor, Allegany Magazine, MD
