Bette Midler is planning to take her act to New York for a two-month stand before the year is out.
The Divine Miss M, who makes her big-screen starring debut with the November release of “The Rose,” is trying to get a booking at the Palace Theatre, but isn’t certain yet whether she’ll be performing at that famed showbiz mecca or another hall.
