Swanky New York publication Interview magazine turns 20 this month, and the magazine has published memorable exerpts of past conversations between the magazine’s founder, Andy Warhol, and famous stars. The editors have reprinted one interview between Warhol
and Bette Midler which went, in part:
Midler: Have you ever been to Hawaii; Warhol: Yes, as soon as you get off the plane it smells like sex; Midler: Is that what your sex life smells like? Gee … where have you been hanging out?”
