Bette Midler las broken every existing record at Radio City Music Hall. She left even the great Liza Minnelli and the late Liberace in the dust Tickets for Midler’s unprecedented month long September/October stint went on sale at 9 a.m.
Monday By 5 p.m., Bette had already sold 50,000 tickets! As of this writing, the entire engagement will probably be sold out.
It has been 10 years since Midler’s last appearance at Radio City. For once, the “absence makes the heart grow fonder” adage is correct.
Bette’s new show is titled “Experience the Divine ” I plan to.
