Don’t hold your breath until the Bette Midler special gets on the tube. The Divine Miss M who signed to make her TV starring bow on NBC after she and ABC couldn’t agree on a concept, was supposed to be wrapping up taping next week on the video hour NBC was planning for fall airing. But now that taping has been pushed back until Sept. 26 – at least. And there’s no telling when an air date will be set.
