Chevrolet Presents Burt Bacharach– Opus 3

Burt Bacharach brings Ludwig van Beethoven back to life–in the person of Peter Ustinov–to see what’s been going on in the world of music. on “Chevrolet Presents Burt Bacharach–Opus No. 3,” on the ABC Television Network, Wednesday, Feb. 28 (9:00 10:00p.m.).

With Bacharach and Ustinov are Stevie Wonder, Bette Midler and Gilbert O’Sullivan.

The Divine Miss M“–Bette Midler, described as a mixture of Bea Lillie, Barbra Streisand and Betty Boop, ”¢raises the rafters, and Beethoven’s eyebrow, with “Chattanooga Choo Choo” and “Superstar.”

English singer Gilbert O’Sullivan joins Bacharach in “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?” and “Alone Again, Naturally.” On his own, O’Sullivan sings “Out of the Question.”
