Bette Midler has migrated from Beaches to the riverfront.
The Divine Miss M joined Parks Commissioner Henry Stern and hordes of schoolchildren Monday to announce a cleanup of seven miles of Hudson River waterfront.
“We love the city and feel that any degradation to it is heartbreaking and unacceptable,” Midler said as she stood at the Little Red Lighthouse beneath the George Washington Bridge.
